We were intrigued at first and found we had to keep watching to try and find some explanation or meaning. But after watching all 7 episodes. It made no real sense, everyone appeared to be lying to everyone and there was no conclusion. What happened to Helen and the girls, why was the island not raided by the police to place the islanders in institutions with straight jackets. The acting however was brilliant and Jude Law still gorgeous

Very sorry to see the main cast of horrible histories not playing the main characters in the film, it lacked the spontaneity and humour that the original the original cast achieve on screen. The young leads played their parts brilliantly and Lee Mack was as funny as ever. Although I understand probable reason for bringing in the big names I think it fell a little flat and the producers made a mistake
