Sri Devi's spirit should be shining. SRK's dimples glistening. Amitabh Bachan's family should be gleaming. All with pride! The Archies was very watchable and pleasantly good! The cast was natural and confident, nothing overtop fake. Every cast role was written and portrayed well, nothing loud or cheesy here. The youth in the film carried their tasks beautifully and it is almost hard to believe that this was the first film for these actors! The story flow was good and most importantly it told a good acceptable story. I wish there was just a bit less signing and a bit more conversations between some of the characters, but overall, I would watch The Archies again and recommend others, especially those who enjoyed the comic, watch this new yet nogalstic movie. I think a series can be very well be possible.

With the rise in divorce rates in Asian (Indian and Pakistani) couples, this storyline was needed. Yes in end this a bollywood movie so it is full of over played quirkiness but still, overall this was a decent watch.

Beautiful movie that really speaks a lot about life and of the possible life after. If you pay attention there are many valuable messages to absorb, contemplate about and possibly realize. We are responsible for those around us. We can make a positive impact or a negative one, however for us to have a meaningful life, we should aim to create and bring positive energy to the lives of people around us. What we do on this earth/realm/life impacts the journey of our soul. Souls too have different levels of energies and maybe that is why some good people die young or suddenly, they are needed to help other transport to say the least. Yes all this from a Disney movie!

Some of the reviews are way too harsh. The movie is actually funny and kids can easily follow it, afterall it is a movie geared for younger audiences. There were plenty people laughing throughout out the film at the theater. I would watch this movie again with the kids for movie night at home.
