20 years after its release I agreed to watch this movie with my wife for the first time only to realise I would rather have waited another 20 years before waiting another 20 years to watch this... Don't mind being dead before then.

An absolute gem. Whether you are a Sunderland, football fan or not, is immaterial. The production is great, and the 2017-18 season is the setting. The real story is the team and its fans, and what this club means to them. I just may have become a fan.
