This movie is one of those musicals that were not meant to be turned into a live-action play it would have been better to then make it into an animation. I fully believe the director believed that a star cast and Jennifer Hudson's vocals in the song memory would carry the movie over the threshold. For a movie that had a 95 million dollar budget it was a greater disappointment than low budget projects and one of the worst cinematic experiences I have been through yet.
