Most people are spreading unnecessary hate related to this movie.. but if I a was asked to describe the movie in 2 lines.. great, fabulous, emotional roller poster, drama.. everything... Though movie has some flaws but I don't really feel that those flaws are that big to destroy it's fun packed momentum that it builds.. Had watched Animal 3 weeks ago.. will surely rate Dunki above Animal... I am not a fan of either of the two actors..so you van take this review as an unbiased comparison.. Positives :- 1) Emotional Rollercoaster - The movie has got scenes where you feel good, feel like laughing, smiling and at the same time you feel like crying. 2) Story - Story telling is fabulous and very easy to understand like every Rajkumar Hirani film has. 3) Direction - Movie doesn't lose it's pace or feels bored at any point due to it's directive brilliance, you will feel like why did the movie end here, it should have got more 15-20 mins, that great direction. 4) Songs - Songs are properly blend in the story, there are no useless Songs, no faltu ka scene.. the story keeps moving and the Songs are blended in there. 5) Acting - Every actor has done their work properly.. especially Vicky Kaushal, what to say about this guy.. didn't even get 10-12 mins in the movie but did make a mark in the movie. 5) Message - Story has got a great message about bunkers and their sufferings. Negatives - 1) Acting - At some point, it feels like Shah rukh sir is overacting but still at the end you will feel satisfied by his performance 2) Comparison score - When you compare Rajkumar Hirani's previous projects with this one, it feels a bit lacking in quality.. I don't complain about that just because he got his bar placed so high that even though Dunki is exceptionally great movie you feel like its just an average movie. That's it, I would recommend everyone to go to cinema halls to watch it and must with your family... you will surely come out with a smile on your face.

This film was being sold on the name of its action & Violance but literally that holds only 7-8% weightage in the movie. This movie consist more of Drama. Story also doesn't hit you hard, very ordinary one liner revenge story. It doesnt live upto its trailer hype, the trailer editor needs a raise 🙌. Movie is very interesting in 1st half but lags, bores and feels long in the 2nd half. Nudity ⚠️ - Wasn't required, acts like sugar in the sea, literally makes no sense. Ranbir needs an applause 👏 for his performance, these movie is totally ruled by him. Kept me engaged through the movie, he keeps us focused. Further Anil sir was upto the point, other cast seemed a bit under exposed and performance wise seemed a bit boring. Overall the movie is a one time watch *with your friends, partner* if you are a Ranbir Kapoor fan, otherwise I would suggest saving your money for any new better ventures coming up.
