This movie feels like an unrealistic dreamlike nightmare. Charlene plays a mom of a newborn who hires a night nanny. She greets the nanny twice at her door with porn playing on the TV... ooos she just forgets to shut it off. So no surprise where this is leading... yes, the nanny becomes a sexual surrogate for her with her husband. We also get to watch the nanny watch her breastfeed her baby transfixing her face by her breast in a sexually erotic way. The mom brushes her son’s body in an erotic way as well supposedly to calm his tantrums and as she leaves he is holding his crouch area.. surprise surprise.. pedophiles will so enjoy that scene. Then there is her asexual relationship with her childlike “teenager mentality”husband who she tolerates and demands nothing of... so not believable. Her son who is troubled goes to a new school after dismissed from his prior school for behavior problems but we never see her or the husband looking for a new school... she and her son show up at the new school like magic. Then there’s her newborn who seems about as real as a Betsy Wetsey doll. Oh, and did I mention she has a threesome with her husband and the nanny but no one talks about it the next day? Yeh.. that would happen. Then there’s the surreal car crash where her nanny becomes a mermaid and rescues her from drowning in her car. This movie is so unrealistic and contrived ...when I watched it I felt exhausted like the mom... was she Tully? Or was the nanny Tully or were they both Tully or was there ever really a night nanny? It’s all a puzzlement...Charlene’s good acting is wasted on a movie that is pure absurdity filled with the typical Hollywood formula of unnecessary sexual depravity.
