i truly dont have the words to describe how i felt watching this movie, on one hand it was incredibly captivating and the acting was incredible, but on the other hand i never want to watch this movie again. the emotional anguish i felt watching this movie was all consuming and reminded me that not all stories are going to have happy endings. This movie was a 10/10 and this was the first and last time i'll ever watch it, if you choose to watch it please proceed with caution as it could be extremely triggering for some people!

just got back from seeing this with a friend and her mom and i came into it blind, even though it wasn't really the focus, the theme of grief throughout the movie and way ben processes it resonated with me deeply, i cried several times throughout the movie. For a silly spooky movie it was deeply raw and emotional at many points throughout, defo a 10/10 for me!

tugs at the heartstrings!!!, that's the main reason i prefer this over the american remake.
