A good story but the technical side was poorly done. Sound going from blaring to hushed and actors who mostly mumble. Too bad.

What's wrong with actors who cannot speak properly? The little guy who replaced Gus as MD has not spoken a word that was enunciated properly from scene one. Why was he hired? Why did the director not stop the scene and direct the actor to speak intelligibly?
