Tries too hard to be amazing right off the bat. It’s a swing and a miss. Good effort. Solid C.

The main characters are trying really hard but are unconvincing (though, Steve Carrell does have some moments). Overall the acting is over-done and taken too seriously. The script could definitely be more original than mimicking the Matt Lauer scandal.
