Taking out a ton of the best features in Pokémon was a huge mistake. Played the whole game in order to double battle with friends at the battle tower and you can’t even do that. This would make an average 3DS game, but as a switch game it falls waaaay short compared to other studios that use the same software to make far more intricate worlds that keep you interested longer. Also lying about character models and animations is a pretty scummy thing to do when it’s clear that GameFreak studio is just lazy. Hopefully Nintendo leases Pokémon to a different studio so GameFreak can remember what making a good game looks like but they probably won’t. Until that day, I’ll be waiting for TemTem to come out since it looks like it actually has potential.
