It was an enjoyable ode to the late George Michael. The English sensibilities were prevalent throughout (setting in London) . I enjoyed the performances of all the cast. It didn't feel like there wasn't anything forced besides Emma's character... but that felt like it was there for comic relief as well. Although a lot of the character development could have been a little more fleshed out we got what we needed to understand the emotions and sentiment from scene to scene. I've seen many better holiday movies but I've also seen a lot more that have been far worse. It's a good movie about self discovery and gratefulness.
