very solid horror drama. kept me engaged through the whole movie.

All I have to say is that the main lead does not play. She got down to business real quick.

The lineup of one-star reviews copy and pasting the same thing is like the line of teslas crashing into each other. It was a great watch.

A+ movie, go watch it. RUN RUN RUN

Not just a kid's film. It resounds with anyone who has experienced life enough to know the struggles of your own mind. Self-sabotage, anxiety, trust issues, selfishness, learning to appreciate your life and those in it. 10/10 animation, soundboard, and atmosphere. It's effectively scary, then emotional, then happy. The humor is damn good too, shocking at some points. On par with Shrek. Anticipating that new movie teased.

Pretty average movie, not as sad as people said it would be. A lot of things could've been cleared up if the characters just trusted the strength of their friendship and been honest like they later learned. I wish events were better explained like a certain character's.....removal.

No wonder it has 100% rotten tomato. So very good. Amazing actors, well done scenes, well crafted movie.

Stopped watching because of the way they were speaking korean like robots. I don't know if that was the way her character was supposed to speak because she want's to be disconnected from her roots, but it totally takes you out of the movie. Same with her uncle who has just slightly better inflection.

Absolutely enthralling movie. If you think you will be turned down by the topic of this movie forget that thought and watch it. It's rare to have a movie make you feel so good then drag you down to the dark pits of reality.

It's definitely an interesting watch. Predictable at first but the shocking parts are well...unexpected. More of a Super Villain sci-fi meets horror. Can't say it's the most well done or even on the better end of the James Wan filmography but, I finished it with out much malice. Spoilers: Movie doesn't give much care to the inner workings of the antagonist/monster. It just flat out states "it can control electricity" and that it's evil. "Why? We don't know. How? We don't know. Questioning the movie's logic? Well f-u" -James Wan (probably). If you're looking for quality horror like Hereditary, Exorcist, The VVitch, etc...then this movie is not it. It doesn't leave a gash in your psyche after viewing or give you an existential crisis. This is more of a horror watch party movie you watch with friends. To either crack jokes about or trash talk it afterwards.
