Even better than He Never Died...hope the make more with She Never Died, her story is much more compelling & complex.

Had such high hopes for this show but it continues to miss the point. If you loved Z Nation for all the ways in which it wasn't The Walking Dead, you won't enjoy Black Summer. Seriously, TWD is it's own thing & that thing is NOT the same as Z Nation. I get that this series is set in the bleak era of "black summer" but "bleak" never meant "humorless" in the universe of Z Nation, where you didn't laugh-to-keep-from-crying but rather snort-laughed in the midst of sorrow; like being reminded of an inside joke at your best friend's funeral. Black Summer is just screaming, running, & shakey-cam. For all the ways season 1 missed the point of existing in the Z Nation universe, season 2 is even worse. If you can't find a better way of distinguishing between groups, maybe Don't switch back & forth between soooooo many fragmented people in every frickin episode! Would have been MUCH better if this series was even just detailed back story of what secondary or tertiary characters from Z Nation were up to during Black Summer instead of this TWD wannabe.
