You will not be disappointed if you are looking for the unique Vijay Sethupathi in this movie. Director's brilliance is evident by manipulating Vijay Sethupathi's Star value for the first 45 minutes and the rest of the movie his presence is felt through his portrait only. Director should have utilised a bit of his brilliance in the screenplay too. This is neither an art movie or nor an entertainment. Director is trying to preach something on art, knowledge, taste and watching and making of movies to the audience. Such a slow melodrama. Dear Mr.VSP, if you want to show your gratitude to your Director, try by some other means please. You have displeased your fans.Of course, a couple of hilarious segments, Rajkumar, and stage actors performances are worth mentioning here. When Ayya(VSP) refrained himself from cinema offers, while he was alive , how could his soul accept to act after his death(even when situation demands)? Sorry Balaji Tharanitharan sir, you communicated well, but you failed to convince. Found Very difficult to digest the Mass and diehard fans for merely a soul and even the court scenes. This is surely a different kind of movie experience for working class audiences whose spends his money just for entertainment.
