Not easy for a series to maintain its momentum and level of intrigue, tension and plot as it did right from the first season, but Homeland did and the ending was splendid. It never seized to surprise me in how clever it is and has not fallen into the trap of most American series that are somewhat arrogant and out of touch with the reality and state of our world.
The main characters are not always likeable and flawed in a delightful human way, but they are true to their natures.
I will really miss this series but also think it was time to stop.
And what a way to do it in.
Thank you to all the brilliant writers and producers and actors.
