Yes, the lightsabers are thin. Yes, the first season is slow, childish, and boring. Sometimes the plot is moving so slow it's exhausting. But let me tell you this... I do not regret watching this show. It had some of the best fighting scenes in the entire SW universe, it had some of the coolest weapons (Ezra's blaster-saber, inquisitor's helicopter saber), we got some super meaningful scenes about our known-and-loved characters... I really recommend giving it a chance.
