Shweta Parande

One of the most artistic films ever. Watched the film at the film festival IFFI Goa in 2019. Reached late to the venue which was a bit far from the main event, and had to haggle for transport. Went in not knowing what to expect and not expecting much, to a packed cinema hall. Liked the film but wasn't overwhelmed with it, until I saw it again on OTT. Forever fan now.

I had seen this film at a festival in Nagpur long back. This week's release Love Sonia reminds me a lot of the film Doghi, which has a similar story and is so nuanced.
