I knew there had to be some redeeming qualities in this movie that led it to gain a mass cult following— I was wrong. This movie is simply unenjoyable (despite that I love rom-com's and the casting). The loose ends never quite tie up. The characters make horrible choices and face no consequences. NOTHING is funny (fat shaming, homophobic, sexual— in the absolute creepiest way). You can't even laugh at how bad the movie is, because it's not even funny in that way. Don't even get me started on the relationships in this movie (where to even start with the age-gaps, abuse of power, cheating, and kissing your husband's best friend???). EW just ew.
