As a fan of the 'Hana Yori Dango' franchise. The Meteor Garden from Taiwan which is a part of my childhood which aired on year 2003 (2 years after it's original release in 2001) here in the Philippines, is still my personal favorite. I've finished the mainland remake but It has some elements that was removed and unnecessary changes that makes it less impactful than it's previous predecessors. I know they remove the bullying and the red card because of the strict censorship in China and I think that is not BOF/HYD for me. It's close but not quite plus the mean duo is not that annoying compare to it's Taiwanese counterpart. but over-all they try to make Meteor Garden 2018 different to the previous iterations of the franchise and I'm happy with that.
