Brianna Clamp

From someone that read the book before watching the movie this was not what I was picturing when I clicked play. The very first scene is not even the same in the book which matters a lot because it’s basically what is talked about throughout the whole book. They left sooo many important details out and this movie felt rushed and thrown together. Not only do they not show his father nor his mother except like once they didn’t even show his little sister. I felt so connected with Finch and Violet in the book and I didn’t feel any of that watching the movie. I really enjoyed the book and it was highly disappointing seeing the crappy job they did with this movie. They should have at least put the cardinal in the movie to explain why he was who he was. If they would have added all those little details it would have made more sense to the people who have not read the book. They hardly focused on Finch and his problems and I felt like this movie was more focused on Violet getting through her problems than his.
