“Dwitiya Purush” is packed with incredibly gross slangs (how did the censor board pass this?) which the audience, that too in the "Cultural Hub of Kolkata - The Nandan - seemed to love, a loose plot and a heavy dose of homosexuality (nothing wrong in that, though), a potpourri of gang-war and suspense with a concocted (and therefore predictable) twist in the end. The roles of Abir, Raima and Prasenjit does not have any relevance to the main storyline. It wouldn't really have mattered if these three characters were eliminated altogether. I was mighty impressed with Srijit Mukherjee's "Gumnaami" - but this one was immensely forgettable. What a fall!
