Sorry , I could write a lot about certain flaws and so forth, but I'm just going to be realistic about the overall atmosphere of this film and how it may or may not appeal to the audience. If you love monsters and fighting then this is for you. If you're looking for a plot and coherent reasoning as to why things are out of place like - Why is there sunlight in "hallow" Earth when there's no sun and other questionable things that happens then things are kind of meh. Mindless fun if you just want to sit down and see some action with some story telling here to keep the movies going along. If you want better Godzilla or Monsterverse movies, stick with Toho and the Japanese style storytelling.

I am not going to beguile those who have not seen this movie. I think it is best for those who are unsure to decide for themselves after they seek out these reviews to see if Nomadland is worth their time. I had heard that Nomadland was pretty good and since it was on sale for $5, I decided buy it blindly and see how was without reading any reviews. So, after watching the film, I decided to do my own review and not write too much. Hopefully, this will help others. The general theme of the film is about an aging lady who has lost her husband and life in a town called Empire, and she decides to live this nomadic lifestyle. It seems like she is haunted by her pass and sees the need to move forward from place to place and connect with others like her as a way to forget about what had happened by experiencing whatever life throws at her. She lives off of her needs vs wants by working odd jobs and seems content to be free from all the weight of what most of what society sees as being successful as a free spirit. Her character is strong but she does show a fragile side to her as the movie goes on; she is challenged but resilient - as it should be in order to be a nomad. As with every movie, it does have its flaws and I am not going to critique each one but I can say that there are times when things drag when they don't have to, but I guess it was done to show the effect of how sometimes things in life can feel like it is slow. Anyway, if you feel connected to her character then you might want to see how she goes through her journey, but if you start to get bored and don't see the movie as really interesting then more than likely you are going to find something else better with your time. I watched it through to see what would happen to her and in the end it was a decent film but it was not a great as others stated. 3 stars!

A lot of people gave this movie high marks, but I don't think it's as deserving of all the praise. Don't get me wrong, it's was OK...not good or even close to great. The story seemed like it was based on a legendary tale about a tiger and man, but in the end, it fell flat of what it could have been because it tried to be real but had things happen in it that didn't make it "real." Some scenes were just horrible like no one--there were a lot of people--not shooting at the tiger but running away when they had guns when the tiger pounced & attack or the people were just horrible shooters, especially when they were in formation and the tiger was standing in the open. In another scene, one person SHOULD HAVE BEEN eaten alive but no...all these wolves didn't even eat him like real wolves would have in the wild. What else? Tiger drags a body and blood doesn't even show in the snow. Tiger spares people. Tiger bites & shreds a person, throws him with enough velocity to break him, and person is still alive to say his lines. I can forgive a movie if it was made to be in a "fantasy like" manner like Lord of the Rings or Star Wars, but if one is going to make a movie seem real then at least make it that way... Sure, the connection between the old man and tiger was touching as well as some of the other characters connected to them, but sadly because of it's unbelievable scenarios, this is one movie that I won't be going back to watch over and over...

I think people who are giving it negative reviews are probably missing the idea of the movie. I think what the movie was trying to do was put the viewer in the position of the animal that is being hunted or getting prepped to be slaughtered or even pitted against another. If the viewers pay attention to the reaction of the people who are being filmed and imagine being the animal in the same position then it would be pretty frightening! Not a bad premise of trying to see fear through an animal's point of view. It loses a point for just having the animals not looking more realistic, but for the budget, I guess it's OK. I kind of laughed at myself for figuring out why the title was called Anonymous Animals because at first, they show very little or slight glimpses of the animal-human beings; thus, remaining kind of "anonymous" but I guess this adds to the suspense of the film...Overall, it wasn't a bad movie but it wasn't great either. Without ruining anything, there was a significant "filming" moment in a turn of events between the hunter and the hunted that occurs just before the ending and director's name showed to conclude the movie. If you happen to catch it, think about the title again of Anonymous Animals and it might shed some insight as to what is really going on. Did I regret spending an hour watching it? Not really. I've seen worse movies that wasted 10 - 15 minutes of my life... I suggest you give it a go, and after 15 minutes if you're not intrigued then save your time for something else. Hope this helps!

I usually give independent movies a go, and I had heard about A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night so I thought let's see about it. Hopefully, my review will be of help to those wondering if they should check out this film. So, I guess the question is: Is it worth watching? The answer in short: Only if you're curious. I suggest watching this movie to see what the allure is all about, and if it's not your cup of tea then stop and save yourself time in your life for something else. I watched the whole thing because I wanted to see why it was getting all this rave, but in the end it left me feeling unfulfilled because I was expecting better. Why 3 stars? I couldn't give it 2 & 1/2 stars; plus it's almost OK for what it is. There are several reasons for rating it so. One is the pacing of the movie; seriously, there are scenes that could have been edited better because some shots - in my opinion - seemed like they were just long and unnecessary. Another reason is the chemistry between the characters seems to be as cold as the vampire...I mean there were moments where you were like - Really??? Don't get me wrong; it's not disastrous - I have seen worse. It tried to weave a little love story to make the movie interesting but there was little substance. I was conflicted feeling for "the girl" because it seemed like she was killing bad men then in one scene she just kills a homeless guy, who seemingly didn't deserve it! I spent $5 getting this on Vudu, then found out that I could have watched it on Tubi for free (with ads). I'm not terribly disappointed, but I'm trying to save others here FROM being disappointed. If you watch it and thought it was great then good, but if you did and thought otherwise then welcome to the club... Lol 😁
