Annely Arriola

The book is absolutely awful. I picked this up based on recommendations of how it was this “epic love story that makes you cry” and it was truly an awful read. There is little to no substance to the relationship the main character shares with her “soulmate” (which is a guy she meets and falls in love with in one day. Please, love does not work like that) who doesn’t even love her enough to work things out and leaves her to pursue his career and she pines for him for almost a decade. The ending is incredibly rushed and predictable to where it had me rolling my eyes the entire time. And the writing is terrible as well as the author tries to sell you an epic love story that has absolutely no substance. If you wish to waste your time by reading the 321 pages that compromises this book go for it.
