Why is this film celebrated? One word RAJINI. He has 100% enjoyed doing this film which clearly evident. This film brings us such joy and fun, very hard to describe in words. One get to see Rajini having fun on screen with actors, leading and dominating every single frame, performing with so much confidence, dancing, singing with college students, competing with this generations best actors, looking great in trendy costumes, romancing with Simran, and I can go on and on. Truly one gets Rajinified. The positive aura around this man spreads like anything not just to actors around him but to audience as well. One gets to see the audience enjoying every single frame. 3hrs of pure celebration. Haven't felt like this before watching a movie. Kudos to this actor for being what he is! I encourage everyone to come and have fun. All of us deserve this celebration!

Audience expectation from a movie is to get entertained. This movie is a complete entertainer. But this movie is beyond just an entertainer. Reasons are 1) movie shot in complete 3D, which means the entire movie is in 3D and not few shots here and there. How is going impact audience? An unique experience for the audience as we don't get to see the actors so close to us. 2) Creativity via VFX. Shankar has used his imaginations to run wild and thanks to the VFX to bring that on screen with grand quality. 3) Last 30mins of the movie is a steal. 4) it's a a clean movie, hence you can take the entire family with kids...I MEAN IT5) there is a beautiful and important message which we all need to know6) RAJINI, RAJINI RAJINI, he has ruled this movie. So watch this movie without fail. I am sure you will be entertained.
