I guess I must have watched a different movie called “Us” that was also written and directed by Jordan Peele. The film that I saw was corny and the acting was subpar. I have always loved Jordan Peele as a comedian. I found “Get Out” to be enjoyable. However, “Us” was boring and Lupita’s performance was of high school theatre arts quality. The impetus for my review was based on a commercial for the film boasting that “Us” was “the scariest horror film ever made..” Seriously?? Boy have we set the bar low. Sorry, Peele is very talented, but no Alfred Hitchcock as he is often compared to.
