Seasons 1-4 are exceptionally high quality television,
Writing then takes a nose-dive after that and culminates in a very incoherent and mediocre mess by the end.
Most credits deserve to go to Ramin Djawdi's fantastic score, the production team, the set builders and the VFX animators in particular for creating an incredibly lived-in and real world.
