I didn't really enjoy this movie as much as I thought I would. The whole concept seems really cool; a house with a dark entity forces unsuspecting victims to play a game of life or death. You would think with a plot like that it would be a lot more enjoyable. However, the execution wasn't great. It starts off really cliche and, in my opinion, there were too many characters. To make it worse, the characters were really unlikeable and had no personality. The drama, in the beginning, was really forced and the acting itself was pretty bad. Once the action picked up the movie was more tolerable but nonetheless, you couldn't feel for the characters that died because of the un-established connection between the characters and the audience. When they went to talk to a previous survivor of these games you would expect more context on what the entity is, how to defeat it, or even just an explanation for why it's there or why it exists. But nope. I was left so confused. It had a horrible ending as well, made absolutely no sense. Wouldn't recommend :/
