I love period drama, and this show did not disappoint. It's a little saucier than the usual writings of Jane Austen, but this adaptation has very good character development, and I found it riveting and well written. The costumes are very good, and I found they told their own story throughout. I noticed that as the characters developed, their costumes changed with them. I love this visual treat, which is often not explored in the pages of a book. I'm very much looking forward to Season 2.
