I was glad to see the attempt at bring the characters game moves to the screen but I wasn’t impressed with the story line. I know different directors change the story line to fit their visions but it’s amazing that I get better story lines from the animation versions of Mortal Kombat. Like Marvel Studios, I believe until they really get a “true” fan of Mortal Kombat creating these movies we will continue to fall very short of the mark. For the most part, I believe fans want to see what they actually know about Mortal Kombat without someone trying to put their stamp on it by changing too much of the story.
