Hey everybody, I am saddened to tell all you but my Tahoe was in a wreck this week, I was on my way to work and as I was going through an intersection and what looked like a 2004 ford 350 ran the light and t boned my car. It was really dramatic. The glass shattered and the roof line caved but I was completely fine. Thanks to the great build quality and safety the Tahoe had to offer. The guy in the ford was ok too. He explained how he had completely lost his breaks and had no way to stop. Luckily we were both ok, unfortunately both of our cars were very totaled. The frame had bent at the B Pilar and if your a car guy you would know that if that ever happens the car is pretty much not able to be saved. As for the guys ford it was also totaled. Let’s just say it very much ruined my day. I decided not to go to work and instead go home and calm down from all the stress. The thing that hurts the most is that my Chevy Tahoe which I had owned for 16 years is gone. With the money from the insurance check I’ll probably buy another 2001 Tahoe. Or maybe a 2005. It’s been 3 days since and I miss the car already. My brother is letting me use his work truck in the mean time while I look for a new car. The thing that sucks is that I had just paid to get the wind shield fixed. Anyway That’s all I have to say for this week.

Hello internet, not much has happened around Ohio in the past week. When I was leaving for work I noticed that a bird had gotten stuck in my garage. Luckily I was able to set him free. Also along the lines of getting stuck my Tahoe broke down leaving me stranded about 20 minutes from home. Turns out the alternator had gone bad. I should of known something was up when I lost my power steering. Yesterday we had really high winds for our area and a tree my front yard fell. Luckily it missed my neighbors and my house. I just got done chopping it up and hauling it off my property this morning. Anyway I went to the local scrap yard to find a new alternator and guess what I found? I found a 1987 Nissan Pathfinder. I’ve always liked this car. This one looked like it had been in a nasty front collision, I wanted to buy it for a restoration project but due to my current financial situation I won’t be restoring any thing any time soon. That’s all for this week.

Hey guys it’s me again, today I was driving to work and I noticed that the old Pizza Hut that had gone out of bisness about 5 years ago was now being reopened as a papa johns. It always brightens my day knowing that a building that was once abandoned is now inhibited and full of life. I’m not a big fan of papa johns though, once I ordered a pizza and it took 3 hours to arrive and once it finally arrived, it really wasn’t that good. Anyway later on that week I decided that enough was enough and decided to replace my cracked windshield, for those who didn’t read my post last week, I was driving down the road and a rock kicked up and cracked my windshield. And about 3 days ago I decided to get it fixed. I got to say it’s good to have a non cracked windshield again. Speaking of cars, for those who don’t know, I’ve owned a 2001 Chevy Tahoe for about 16 years now and it’s been great. I love this car and don’t ever plan to sell it. Unfortunately it doesn’t get that good of gas mileage. I average about 16 mpg. It’s not that bad but if the country ever goes into another recession, it’s gonna be hard to hold on to it. Before I owned my Tahoe I owned a 1993 Honda Civic, It wasn’t glamorous but it got me to where I needed to go and averaged about 30 mpg. I planned on keeping it until one night I was driving home from work around 6:30 and I took a turn and drove over some black ice that had froze earlier. I went siding off the road and rolled down the hill and slid on my roof for about 15 feet. I was ok but the car was more than totaled. That was around the time I got the Tahoe. Ever since then I’ve made sure to drive carefully in the snow. Well that’s all I have to say for this week.
