Let me start of by saying I expected a little more from this production house. I think they got the casting a little bit wrong. Love the ideology of this show but they went wrong with the narration. I could see that they wanted to incorporate the fleabag's outlook but it was weird way to segregate him speaking to the camera and him actually interacting with the characters inside the show. This weird voice-over doesn't really workout because we never tell the different between when he is actually talking and when he is talking to himself. We never really feel empathetic for the lead Ray after all the stuff he messed up. Gotta agree there were few moments that are funny for sure. The as the show is set in Mumbai they hardly speak in Hindi. I do understand the concept of it being an English show but that doesn't mean the fact that every single person around him speak in English without incorporating a single Hindi word. The only people they speak in hindi with is the drivers and house/office helpers. I expected a little more depth with the characters because they casted Rahul Bose and Suchitra Pillai. But that didn't happen. When the show tries to be relatable as much it can but I only thing relatable about this show is how much a goodish guy like Ray can mess up so much. I would say it is a skip but there are moments which will put a smile on your face.

I've never read the books so this is from a non-reader's perspective. if you think this movie will have everything you ever want that's probably true. it has everything you want, but the screenplay and acting don't put in a universe where u expect yourself to be in. I'm not saying that this movie is trash and also I'm not saying this movie is the best teen romantic movie I've ever seen. The story doesn't hold you and move you but it sure makes you feel like u need a boyfriend like Peter kavinsky. Noah being Noah u just can't ignore his charms and cuteness, u can never can enough of that guy. Lana played her character well enough. Jordan man how can i say I'm in love with you. He played John ambrose in this movie. If you have seen the trailer that's already half of the movie. this is a kind movie u wanna watch on laid back Sunday night. But definitely, the first one is way way way way better than this. If u have nothing to watch you can just watch this instead to catch up on all the hype.
