I had not heard about 'the young pope' back in 2017, but saw the ad about 'the new pope' just before it started this year, and liking Malkovich, I looked into it and found out about the prequel. Managed to then watch 'the young' before 'the new' started and was blown away by Jude Law. Have rewatched the whole thing, and gone to my 'on demand' feature to look for all of Jude's previous. Rest of the cast is amazing too (esp. Voiello), the whole thing is so...creative/unusual, tho I can't always figure out what's going on. Dread it being over!
