Honestly, I think this show could possibly have potential. I've only seen a few episodes that my sister was watching, but I couldn't help but cringe. There's way too many politics being thrown into the show. I remember watching shows growing up and they didn't influence such negative behaviors. Also, speaking as a local Utahn, there are not that many LGBTQ+ people in Salt Lake. We have quite a few, but when you take into perspective that there are 8 that are somehow related to the people doing the musical, the proportions are really big. I also have noticed that they have a lack of action turns into consequence. There's a lot more I can ramble on about, but I'll stop there for now. Like I said, I think this has potential, but Disney has lost its flare with me. Everything they do now doesn't have any good teaching points for kids anymore. It's Hollywood wanting to force their politics onto young children who can easily be influenced. I don't care what political party you're on, but this should not be okay to either side. Let kids be kids and let them be happy. They shouldn't have to start thinking of what sexuality they want to be one day (yes, it's influenced in the show, don't fight me on this), and they should only be worried about being happy. From a teenager to any skeptical parent, watch older disney TV shows with your kids. They will indeed be very cheesy, but they are family centered.
