Didn’t see the first season. I found the characters drab and downtrodden for the most part. The first episode was so-so. Quit mid-way through the second episode. I don’t know if the acting isn’t up to snuff, or it’s the storyline, but it’s just not engaging.

I liked a lot of this book. But it’s way more than a lot. It just goes on for ever. I gave up at Chapter 45. There was still another 24 chapters. I listened to it on Audible. The narrator was very good but it was just way too long. When I realized Demon was still only 16 I pulled the plug.

No chemistry between the two stars. Very flat and predictable. Turned it off after less than an hour. Stereotypical characters.
