It is my opinion venkatesh gave his best. Even though it's remake, I felt like I am watching it for the first time. The direct did a good job here not by changing the script. Only difference between Dhanush and Vekatesh acting here is experience. Dhanush performed good, but Venkatesh showed his class and created an impression that he is the suitable candidate for such a role. The five stars rating is for Vekatesh performance only.
