This movie seems as though it is a completely different movie from the book. First of all, Nancy Bobofit doesn't ever appear in the movie and Grover does not even appear the same as they describe him in the book. Annabeth DOES NOT have brown hair, and they don't meet anyone other than Medusa in Auntie M's garden. Hades doesn't appear in the book until they meet him in the underworld, but the book features him as some dark angel. It seems as though the directors/producers/movie-makers were just looking for an excuse to make an action movie.
