I was disappointed with this book and the previous two books as well. It is taking much to long to detail the characters life in the new world and the American Revolution. After 21 years of writing this series I would like the author to concentrate more on revealing the mysteries of Claire's background that make it possible for her and her family to time travel and the powers she is to develop with age. I am ready for the story to finish and to circle back to Jamie's ghost watching Claire in 1946 Scotland.
