Deckard

An absolute masterpiece and an extension of the original film's story that begins, I say begins to resolve many of the logical questions the more astute fans of the first film will have regarding many of the ideas and narrative threads that deserve to be followed through. Blade Runner was the sort of film that one would expect, including myself, to be a standalone without a sequel, but as the years passed, it became obvious there were was more, and the story was not over. There IS much more, and now, with 2049, they've excellently opened up the Blade Runner universe, and now I expect there to be a third film. Definitely, absolutely watch Blade Runner 2049. It's brilliant.
