Seriously one of the best Barbie movies (as many of the OGs are). Annika is super inspiring to kids to always be optimistic, Brietta teaches kids to stay strong, and Aidan teaches kids that second chances do exist. The villian, Wenlock, is seriously creepy because he kind of illuminates what a lot of girls have to go through in being objectified/chased by creepy men. I know it's a Barbie movie, but it certainly touches on pertinent issues like that. All the characters are awesome - I also love how Brietta is one of the only Barbie girl characters to end up without a love interest, yet she's shown to get her own happily ever after in a way that's more suited for her - feeling free and finally back home again. How unique and refreshing! Both girls are wonderful examples to boys and girls alike, hence why this movie is one of my all time favorites.
