Excellent series and cast. Extremely disappointed at the terrible nonsense ending! He moved forward and she gave up.... after all the struggles, sacrifices, and sufferings. Her oath to not marry him was also unreasonable since it was based on blaming an EIGHT years old boy who was controlled by his uncle. The emperor compared his relationship with Yale to that of NY and FW, which was wrong and cruel ( the emperor took Yale away from her lover and forced her into marriage). Then all these other people including prince Heilian and FW’s brother worked to destroy NY and FW’s relationship. So they won!!! Need a second season where she actually survives and they find their ways back to each other, and actually make things work. After all, the emperor didn’t die after getting stabbed in the chest, The prince’s mother turned out alive after supposedly dead after 20 years. So it is impossible that she could have survived the jump. Hopefully this is the producer’s way of getting support for a second season since viewers would be satisfied if FW and NY had a happy ending and not asking for more.
