Although this film does make you really really angry against the male protagonists it is totally a one sided movie - One sided favouring females, One sided denouncing Hindu practices, One sided denouncing traditional values (as compared to Western/American/Modern values). It does not offer solutions. Instead it will end up breaking homes. If American values actually benefitted it wouldn't have so many broken families and inequalities in its society. There is so much goodness in our culture and tradition. Let's identify them and promote them.

Sixteen is made with good intentions. The actors gave an above average performance. The behind the screen crew did a better job by keeping us engaged. Nowhere do you get bored. There are a few lose ends. It's not vulgar anywhere. You can (and should) watch it with your family. It's a feel good movie with a positive ending. I'm sure everyone involved with this movie will only get better with time and experience. I think Tanisha was most outstanding.
