The show is unwatchable for me. Never have I seen a host who interrupts and talks over and constantly interjects “yeah” and “I love that”. Apparently no one has mentioned to her how rude that is. I used to think it was diet pills but it’s ongoing. The recent “I own a ranch” comment is also uncalled for, tone deaf in light of peoples’ struggles to make ends meet. Talk (much) less. Listen more. Great singer. Host not so much.

How absurd that a show called the TALK has an idiot controlling the APPLAUSE button every 15 seconds. The guests are interrupted constantly, mid-sentence even, by the annoying clapping. The home audience has to work at hearing as much as possible before the seals commence their noise. Tried to give it another chance but today Marcia Gay Harden had to put her hands up and say “Wait!” 3 times to finish her story. There are appropriate times to insert applause, like at the END of a thought or story…not after every 10 words.

The Gayle King Show.  She can't shut up.  Constantly interrupting guests and co-hosts, hijacking interviews, name-dropping (who cares?), verbose beyond belief, has to offer her opinion on everything...even with "yessss" while others are speaking (who cares?).    She has made jaw-dropping, unprofessional, opinionated statements that don't belong on a general news program.  Interviews? Meh. HAD to bring up Kobe rape charges? She's just not as wonderful as she thinks she is.  Podcast or talk show is where she should be...opining her heart out.   We are done with CBS am, especially after the over-the-top grandbaby announcement.
