I honestly love this book. It is a good coming of age novel that would be most suitable for 14+ aged people. It deals with racism,addiction,poverty,and many other sensitive topics. The story can be confusing at first,because it is just analogies all piled into one book. The book sometimes just jumps into moments of the past before continuing onto the current sequence of events. Though it can be an issue for certain people,I have no problem with it. Overall,it is a fine novel that you can finish within a sitting.

⚠️SPOILERS⚠️ This show is pure gold. It's easy to access (free on YouTube and Roostee Teeth's official website) AND it has an amazing story along with decent animation. I love the balance between humor and deepness in this show. For example,Max. He isn't just some kid who curses and screams all the time,he actually has feelings deep down inside but conceals them. As shown in S2-3ish,Max's family doesn't really like him. They don't care and just send him off so they don't have to deal with him. Despite being all tough,Max still manages to cry in front of David and Gwen in the S2 finale. Very well written character in my opinion.
