Very well crafted storyline. A fantasy/ adventure that leaves you wanting more. The strength of the relationships of the characters is inspiring. I highly recommend this novel for those that love adventure and twist and turns, its a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Just when you think you got it all figured out the author hits you with a twist. Definitely looking forward to the sequel!

It was read to me by my 4th grade teacher. I am 54 now and have fond memories of the story. I had my daughter read it when she was in high school. She loved it. I also gave a copy to a friend to read to his 6 year old. He said his son really like the story. In Summary, one of the best childrens stories ever written.
