actually I was surprised. it is pretty entertaining the way they have formatted the story line, lots of twists and turns and surprises... I like the writing. I Certainly do not promote the "drunken lush" part but I get the logic (given her back history in the story). I have loved Kaley in The Big Bang theory and this puts a different sort of light to her acting talent...drama and comedy!

Hilary Farr is my only reason for only 2 stars, she is a horrible character (presuming it's a character that Hollywood created). She is rude and so self serving and very condescending. I would NEVER have her do my home!!! Right from the get-go she has a rude attitude. We "started" to work with a architect/builder for the total renovation of out 1954 built home in 2017. After 4 meeting, he STILL did not have a clue what we wanted, and completely ignored our remarks.... we told him right at the start, at the 1st meeting before any drawings, we wanted "treated wood" deck or perhaps TREX (or the like, we do not want stamped concrete (that was in EVERY single drawing after our first meeting)? he had $100K worth of stamped concrete and Brazilian wood deck alone?? Before they even addressed the house? We told him our "budget" was $200K, his quote was for $500K(including the stamped concrete and Brazilian wood deck... he told the project manager at the 4th meeting (right within earshot behind my husband's back) "it's OK he is loaded"!!! HE WAS FIRED IMMEDIATELY". Hilary totally reminds me of him! Her way or the highway!

I am struck in awe to the content of this series, VERY informative and something I have preached about for decades to deaf ears (in the medical field) that there should be a database somewhere of all the facts to be investigated/be analyzed and compared to be properly diagnose. More brains in the topic the better. I was always told it tells too much,information that could later effect that person in advanced ways (cost of insurance/daily maintenance procedures. Practicing medicine is what it always has been, new virus/illness crop up or mutate daily. It has a constantly changing environment. A common database helps the research/investigation effort. But that database does not exist and our civil right prevent it from existing.

I have watched Fixer upper since the beginning. Love the show, love the format, love the couple and their family. It seems to be a loving honest and candid relationship. It warms my heart watching their creativity and their relationship. Chip with the kids awesome, how much Love Jo shows the kids. In the dictionary is a picture of this family and a pictorial image for a FAMILY. I watch the episodes over and over. We totally gutted and remodeled our 1954 built home and considered a lot if ideas from your show. Jo has a real talent and a wonderful eye. I could use her expertise now to "finish" our project. Interior design is not our forte. Too bad you are not near to Cleveland Ohio.

Not QUITE as good as reading the book (none ever are as good as your mind's imagination), but done very well

It may have "stolen" the idea of Indecent Proposal, but I "fought thru" the first few episodes to get to the core plot! It surpasses the plot of Indecent Proposal in leaps and bounds. A brilliant writing, horrendous story line but proved that good wins over bad. I thoroughly disagree with the "bad" reviews. I loved it
