Slow, cheesy, predictable, cliche, shallow kind of woke, takes self too seriously while not actually having any depth, cringy acting, poor production with sound, editing and cinematography. Oh, and ridiculous attempts at action.

Although I can't seem to stop watching (like not being able to turn away from an accident) I find the writing reductive, the plot lines absolutely ridiculous, the mother and sister's acting outright laughable and the relationships lacking any chemistry. The highlights are the actress who plays Donna and of course, Michael Sheen.

First, let's all acknowledge that the writing is horrendous, the supporting characters are nothing more than explicit fodder, requiring no acting talent, the heroine is utterly cringe worthy and the gore is over the top. All that said, Jensen Ackles gives one powerful performance! Between the plot twist and the two male lead's performances in the climax, this is a must see! It's hard to say the movie is underrated given all of the horrific supporting characters and the first 2/3rds of the film... but I'd say the ending ranks in the top 10 horror endings of all time.
