On today’s show I saw one of the smartest people ever, play the race game. It was Joe (for short) and even tho he won 2 and not all 4 prizes, he played it very smart. After placing the tags on for the first time , it came up zero. So he only switched 2 of them. Then unfortunately it came up zero again so he had to change all of them. But had his plan worked, after only switching 2 of them and then if it changed from zero to 2 correct, he would have known all he had to do was switch the other 2 this time. As it turned out he won 2 prizes, but I appreciate his strategy, had it worked like he planned. Speaking of today’s show once again, the last bidder on the last game, made a rally stupid bid, Instead of bidding just one dollar over the highest bidder, he went way higher than that, and the next highest bidder got to try for a car with the rat race. And once again he didn’t even seem to know how dumb he was. Will these people ever learn?

For one hour I can enjoy the show and not think about Covid or bills. What I can’t get over is people continue to make stupid bids. If you are luckily enough to be the last bidder, then it is pretty simple, Either bid one dollar over someone or bid one dollar. When they are the last bidder, they often bid way over the amount that is the one just lower than their bid. It often happens when they think everyone is too low, and they say some high amount that is over and someone else gets on stage. And what is worse is that when the other person gets called up, they don’t even realize what they did. If they would have just said one dollar over the highest bid they would have gotten on stage. Or if they think the others are too high, and they say some amount and then everyone is over. Sometimes they get lucky and make it on stage anyway. If there is one of these people who made stupid bids, I never root for them to win the show case. What is amazing is that even teachers, or other professional people who you would think would be smarter make these dumb bids. Or if someone bids 500 dollars the next person says 499! What a dumb bid. The only way they’d get up there is if it would be that amount. I can see the look on Drew’s face when people bid like that. Maybe people are nervous up there, but it would be wise to remember these things if you are the last bidder. But Drew makes it fun, and is always nice to everyone (and doesn’t say, boy were you lucky to get up here, like I probably would). Glad the show is back on with safety measures in place.
