I had high hopes for this show when it premiered last year in 2023. But I was extremely disappointed and turned off by the uncivilized way some members treated the dog that was accompanied by one of the girls. There was a lot of hatred exhibited towards the poor dog and I found it a bit disturbing when some members showed anger toward the dog for venturing into certain rooms of the house or sitting on a sofa. These are supposed to be grown azz adults but they are not. They showed how uncivilized and uncaring they are toward a poor helpless dog. I have no interest in watching this garbage. Grow up people. Have a heart when it comes to pets, dogs, etc.

I refuse to watch this movie. I don't think there is any redeeming or artistic value in watching a movie about animal cruelty. Animal cruelty is indicative of how uncivilized some societies are in this world. Shame on the people involved who profit and glamorize such inhumane and barbaric torture of animals. It is because of this lack of respect for animals that we are living in a world of Covid 19. ban the slaughter and cruelty of animals worldwide. Make a movie about that instead.

I started watching this show in 2020 and became very addicted to it. No one has a perfect family so I think we all can relate. Chantal is very beautiful and seems very level headed and protective of her family and siblings. Whats wrong with that? Nothing if you ask me. And I like watching Chantal walk. Pedro is handsome and mom Karen seems so sweet and calm. It is nice to see the people and beauty of the Dominican Republic and it has alerted me of the stray dog problem there and I will look into what I can do to help the poor dogs on this island. Nurse here as well and we can't help but care for less fortunate ones including the animals.

I loved this show until I saw tonight's episode (Oct. 23, 2020) in which Ari arrived home from the hospital only to see the boyfriend's family slaughter a poor defenseless sheep or goat as a way to celebrate. How disgusting that was. I was so horrified that I changed the channel as I could not watch this sick act of animal cruelty. I don't know what happened since I did not watch it, but I hope Ari stopped this animal cruelty from happening. I don't care what country or culture you are from...animal cruelty is animal cruelty. The last thing I heard Ari say was "he looks so scared." I think celebrating animal cruelty is bad luck. poor animals have as might right to live as anyone else. Nurse Love.
