I don’t know if producers read these comments, but regardless I want to offer mine.i adored this show ( HomeTown). Ben an Erin area perfect match both personality wise and work wise. When they renovated homes in this little Mississippi town, homes that sold for far less than $100,000, I was amazed with their ingenuity and creativity. I loved that they brought in their best friends to help. They did a fantastic job on each and every home. The blended the personality of the owner into their design. Lately I have noticed the houses are getting more expensive, the finishes are less creative, the friends have disappeared and it is not the same. They are not Chip and Joanna Gaines and that’s who they seem to be morphing into. The Gaines do great work but to me, they do the same design in every Reno. I watched many many of their shows and I think Ben and Erin are so unique in their approach I would hate to see them become anything other than themselves. There is nothing wrong with moving up the ladder of success but often times this means throwing away the friends, doung the same things that have proven successful in the past, just different layout combos. I always envisioned Ben and Erin’s mission to be tohelp rebuild their small southern town in their own creative talented way and not morphing into Chip and Joanna Gaines clones. Please bring back their friends, their creativeness with old inexpensive homes. I fear this show will become a cookie cutter version of every other makeover show and that would be such a shame. I live in Ontario Canada and I love the close homey settings Ben and Erin work on and give renewed life to. Please don’t make them into something they are not.
