This movie is a guilty pleasure of mine. I actually liked this movie quite a bit. There are a lot of cleverly hidden easter eggs in the movie that a fan of the games may pick up. Also liked the fps part of the film. I comes off like a 'B' movie to me, but a really well done 'B' movie.

Quite simply the worst thing I've ever seen. It was embarrassingly bad. This is like something you write when you are trying to sabotage the project on which you are working. Is this a Disney product? The fact that they insisted on shoving child elements into this screams Disney. The Aliens franchise is dead. Alien Covenant put it in the I.C.U., Romulus put it in a coma, but Alien: Earth unplugged the life support.

First of all I'd like to point out to everyone that actually watches movies for fun the differences between reviews from critic sites like Rotten Tomatoes, Empire, etc. versus the actual audience. But I digress. I was not expecting this movie to be good at all. I was pleasantly surprised by this film. Of course Guy Pierce was good but it was nice to see Vin Diesel throwing some acting in too. Story was a pretty decent switch up too. It seems like a good comic based movie that doesn't try to rely on the fans of the comic character and stands alone as a decent film by itself. Overall its a fun movie, and I feel like that's the point.

It wasn't fantastic but not nearly as bad as it was rumored to be.

This was a fun movie. I know it didn't do well in theaters but if that were the barometer by which everyone watched movies nobody would have watched The Thing or Big Trouble in Little China. I can't speak to the Thelma and Louise Gina Davis as that's not my cup of tea. But THIS Gina Davis feels like the one that carried over into The Long Kiss Goodnight and is very fun to watch. Of course Gina Davis is wonderful but watching Frank Langella is great too. If you're in the mood for a fun pirate-esk movie and you want to go outside of Pirates of the Caribbean you will probably enjoy this.

Every single time I hear about this movie it is in a negative context and here it is, currently, at 75%. Very interesting take on a post-apocalyptic future. I know it was very difficult to make and didn't make a lot in returns but it looks great. The post-apocalyptically feels really wonderful.

I really enjoyed this movie. When I think about the post-apocalyptic genre I feel like this catches it well. It feels really natural and devoid of most modern amenities. Cast is great. Of course Kevin Costner is great but can we talk about Will Patton as General Bethlehem? That is one intense dude.

Pretty good film. My biggest problem with it is silly in that it should be called Parasite or something to do with such.

I would really like to do 3.5 stars. The movie itself is okay. Nothing really remarkable. BUT THAT END SEQUENCE! Holy Crap! It is worth the watch just to get that third act. Delightfully disturbing.

Randy Gambill is the true hero of this movie. God bless this brave brave man.
