Every single time I hear about this movie it is in a negative context and here it is, currently, at 75%. Very interesting take on a post-apocalyptic future. I know it was very difficult to make and didn't make a lot in returns but it looks great. The post-apocalyptically feels really wonderful.

I really enjoyed this movie. When I think about the post-apocalyptic genre I feel like this catches it well. It feels really natural and devoid of most modern amenities. Cast is great. Of course Kevin Costner is great but can we talk about Will Patton as General Bethlehem? That is one intense dude.

Pretty good film. My biggest problem with it is silly in that it should be called Parasite or something to do with such.

I would really like to do 3.5 stars. The movie itself is okay. Nothing really remarkable. BUT THAT END SEQUENCE! Holy Crap! It is worth the watch just to get that third act. Delightfully disturbing.

Randy Gambill is the true hero of this movie. God bless this brave brave man.

I actually liked this movie more than I thought I would. My big gripe is that the CG for the characters was just dreadful in many parts. Also young Barry was irritating, but I guess he's supposed to be. But as far as sloppy time travel clichés go this was done better than I thought it would be. Also managed to squeeze a few feels out of me at the end. Who wouldn't try to undo time to save loved ones. Solid ending.

I actually liked it. They really kept with the dynamic between the brothers. I feel like a lot of the negative reviews are coming from people that came into the theatre not wanting to like this movie. And with the plethora of unlikeable super hero movies (Guardians vol.3 being an exception) I can understand this. I did my best to put all of the other movies out of my my mind when I went to see this except for the previous Aquaman movie. This movie had a couple of my favourite things: monsters and machines.

I didn’t think that I was going to enjoy this movie but I really did. Having only seen the original I don’t think this should have been called ‘Wrong Turn’ as it was more like Southern Comfort than anything to do with murderous mutated hill people. It was a pleasant surprise that entertains and has a couple of twists that you probably won’t see coming.

This movie suffers from being compared to the original which is also great in it's own right. This new rendition does not have the campiness (and excessive blood squibs) that gave the original a lot of it's charm. This movie takes itself very seriously from beginning to end. Having said that, as a stand alone movie, this is written and acted very well. If this had come first one would be remarking how the others turned the character into a big joke. So the best way to watch this is to put the original out of your mind altogether. Solid film and Joel Kinnaman was great in it.

Wildly macabre film. Hilarious in parts and extremely awkward in others. Watch by yourself or around your parents or priest or anyone else you want to upset.
